Plant Based Diet
I am a big believer that in order to transition to New Earth Consciousness we must adopt a plant-based diet. The New Earth is a Consciousness without killing. We can’t continue the brutality towards other sentient beings, believing we have the right to enslave and kill for our own needs. We don’t have that right.
Sure, if we go back hundreds of years, hunting was necessary for sustaining life. When we lived in climates that were cold and did not have access to plant foods throughout the year, hunting and gathering was how we survived. But things have changed. We now enslave billions of helpless animals, keeping them in very poor conditions and brutally slaughtering them in order to keep up with our demands for meat. It is no longer about going on an annual hunt and taking down a few buffalo to provide for the tribe in the Winter. The Native Americans had great respect for nature and the animals. They did not capture the animals and imprison them. They took only what they needed. Much as the predatory animals do today.
Our enslavement of animals has contributed greatly to the deterioration of the planet. For more information, watch the enlightening film “Cowspiracy,” available on Netflix. This is the film that influenced me to go from Vegetarian to Vegan. I had no idea how animal agriculture was strongly contributing to the destruction of our environment. We don’t stop to think, just how many animals must be grown and slaughtered to keep up with our ever growing demand.
People can not only survive on a plant-based diet, but they can thrive. There may need to be a transition period for many, gradually cutting down on their consumption of animal products until their body adjusts to consuming only plant foods, but once the body adjusts, it will be greatly nourished by these foods.
Plant foods are the highest vibrational foods available to us. The higher vibration our food, the higher our vibration, and the New Earth Consciousness is a “high vibration” consciousness. We live in harmony with nature.
Some may feel that transitioning to a plant-based diet is a sacrifice. If our planet is to survive, we must all make sacrifices. We must surrender our personal preferences for the good of the whole.
The good news is that the Vegan movement is growing exponentially which is creating a demand for plant-based meats, milks and cheeses. There are companies like “Beyond Meat” that are creating foods that taste like meat, but made entirely of plants. Plant-based milks, like almond milk and coconut milk are beginning to outsell animal milks, and they are so much healthier for us. Plant-based cheeses are getting better and better. Most of us who have already transitioned to a Vegan diet don’t miss animal products because we can get everything we want or need without contributing to the slaughter of animals.
There is enough science proving that a plant-based diet is the healthiest diet for human’s. Although many carnivores and Paleo enthusiasts will disagree, there is still plenty of scientific evidence. A diet rich in animal products is simply not healthy in the long run.
I encourage you to take a thirty day plant-based challenge and see for yourself what is possible. You may find that in those thirty days change your life, for the better. You may notice your health and energy levels improving. You may even lose some weight and have clearer skin.
Eating a plant-based diet is the wave of the future. It is where we must go to sustain ourselves.
